Welcome to Newcastle Hash House Harriers

Newcastle Hash House Harriers (NH3) is a non-competitive running club where the emphasis is on the social benefits of group activity. We meet every Wednesday evening  (run commences at 7pm sharp) and the first Sunday of the month at 11.30am at a different location (usually a pub) in and around the North-East. Our runs are a 'hare and hounds' type format, where a 'hare' lays a trail (in flour) that the pack have to follow. The trails are organised such that runners/joggers/walkers of all ages and abilities will complete the course in approximately the same time. There is no joining or membership fee, just come along and run for fun whenever you like (a small subscription of £2.50 covers a drink and snack after each event).

The Hash "comes of age" next August and we are heading back to Ridley Hall to celebrate our 21st Birthday.

This will be a Newcastle Hash weekend and we won't be advertising it nationally, so we can make it

a bit more family centred, a chance for some of the younger hashers to have a trip away.

July 31st to August 2nd 2015. Details to follow.
